As you may already know, this isn’t the first VIZO product that we’ve taken a look at here at Geek Cube. Vizo mainly specialize in computer peripherals with unique designs specifically for the DIY consumers. Today, we will be looking at the Vizo Propeller, a dual LED fan cooler, which is chiefly a video card cooler but can also be used to cool any internal computer card.

The specifications on the Vizo Propeller are pretty good in comparison to some of the other coolers on the market. The Vizo Propeller’s fans are actually quite thin and less angled compared to other similar fans we have seen out there and it’s the same with the motors. The Vizo Propeller produces less heat as a result of the smaller motors. To counter these design changes, Vizo have added more blades to move the same amount of air.
The Vizo Propeller sits in the motherboard with a small foot that slips into a PCI slot for support and takes up a PCI card slot on the back of your case. The Vizo Propeller PCI bracket has a slider which allows you to control the speed of the fans, you may want to keep it at one speed because it may be a pain to keep going beind you PC to change the speed of the fans. There are also two bright blue LEDs which illuminate the Propeller giving it a beautiful glow.
Testing & Performance
We recorded the temperature of our video card whilst idle and under load. For idle, we recorded the temperature at the point where it would not get any lower. For the load condition, we recorded the temperature of the video card when it would not go any higher after being under full load – benchmark tests.
In both instances, we recorded temperatures with and without the Vizo Propeller.

The Propeller was very quiet whilst running and it was difficult to hear over the power supply fan. The amount of air displacement was also quite impressive considering its size and the blue LEDs looked great whilst it was operating.
As you can see, the Propeller dropped the idle temperature of the video card in our test machine by 3°C. Under full load, the temperature drop was an even more impressive 5°C. The Propeller definitely removed a lot of heat from our system’s cards and gave us lower case temperatures. It is important to note that you must also have sufficient ventilation in your PC case for the Propeller to do its job properly.
The Vizo Propeller definitely impressed us. Impressive cooling as shown by the figures and good looks mean that we give the thumbs up for this product and recommend it to anyone in need of a cooler system.
